I know that most if not all of you have played this piece, so I thought I'd ask the question: How do you folks play the double (or rather triple) stop that begins Mvt. II? Bear in mind that I play German bow. I have a hard time getting the whole chord to be clear and to know what chord I'm playing haha. Any suggestions would be a great help. Thanks!

With German or French I like to the 1st 2 notes open G and Bb on the d string then the upper notes as harmonics G and D.

What my teacher told me to do was and I play French bow by the way is the pick up D 1st finger, Bb is 2nd finger on the D string, D is still 1st finger on the G string and the G harmonic is 3rd finger.

that is one way of doing it, the other way is putting your thumb on the d harmonic (d string) and your first finger on the Bb (a string)(you are in a chromatic hand positions)

I personaly think this way sounds better, but try both, and then chose.
