Heavy Bow

Hey all, I know there is already a thread about "The New Dutch School" however I was curious in knowing if anybody has yet to experiment with a real heavy bow i.e. 200-300kg range and what results they achieved ..... if I had the $$ I would get one to experiment with, there are some definate logical arguments in there.

A trip to the luthier for a broken bass and a trip to the doctor for a broken back.

Wow. A 300 gram stick would be quite interesting. German hold I presume?

they actually make both, French and German, I would imagine German would be easier to hold...
