I've been comtemplating Paul's idea that the notes sound be "squeezed" rahter than "plucked". Not exactly sure yet what "squeezing" means exactly since this kinda thing is hard to describe. I've also been taught to play with a relaxed hand and slightly curled fingers. Seems like it takes less effort than if you kept your fingers completely straight.

When it came to intonation, he told me to practise ALOT in first and half position, just checking intonation against loose strings, thirds and fifths.
Yeah I think this is what alot of us are saying. It's nice to duck back into half and first position when your intonation is sketchy. Lately I've been singing a target note or two when I'm playing near-TP and using that as a reference/relative tone. When things get too sloppy I'm right back at the nut.

I ment right hand attack, not left hand. To hit trough the string with your left hand - rather then hitting it down.

All the stuff you Aaron and Pdiddi says looks good me. (Speaking of you look good to me...amazing little song!)

I have a small mark on (on g-string) C and G (thumb)
They absolutely doesn't do any harm. I play so much from sheets that I can't watch them most of the time anyway.
