Mingus Transcription

Hey all, I heard this great recording of a Mingus solo the other day but i have no clue what it was. I really liked how bluesy and simple it was. Any tips on some good stuff mingus has played on with some solos?? More basic/simple stuff if ya know of any. Thanks fellow lowenders.

The book/CD "Mingus More than a Play Along" has some trascriptions and discussions of his solos - quite short but a good place to start?
