My first Lesson

Hi everyone. I've been lurking here for a few months soaking up knowledge, while I wait for my first bass to arrive (carved Christopher flatback).
Well, my bass hasn't arrived yet (still 2 weeks away), but I have already had my first lesson!
My teacher was great. He showed me how to stand and sit with a bass, hand position, 'the claw', practicing in front of a mirror, etc.

I'm very glad I had my first lesson before my bass arrived, as now I will hopefully start off with acceptable technique. I also got to salivate (and play) over his beautiful bass!
