Question New York City/Long Island DB Teacher Sought

Can someone please tell me how to find a teacher of the double-bass in either New York City (Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan all good) or on Long Island?? I'm interested in jazz and folk mostly but what I really want is expert advice on hand position, posture, developing good intonation, etc.

Also, my instrument is a Stagg Electric Upright Bass. Yeah, I know, I know....but I can't afford a real bass yet and I am a beginner on this instrument...I'm just hoping to find an excellent teacher who will accept my instrument compromise for the time being and get me going.

Thanks in advance!

Well, I found a teacher! But only after posting multiple places, and I only received one response, but he's well-qualified.
