Not to diverge from the subject of the thread too much, but there's a gal like the one you described who comes to a lot of gigs here in my town. She also very hip; if you take a lame solo, you look at her face, and you know she KNOWS you just took a lame solo!
However, the extra-added-bonus-plus is that she is also a talented sketch artist and often presents the musicians with her beautiful drawings of themselves at the end of the gig.
