Ray Brown-- two fingers

I thought this was interesting. I got into a discussion yesterday about one- and two-finger pizz. techniques. One of my idols, Ray Brown, is so often here described as being a one-finger pizz. player except in rare instances. Take a look at this video.

I guess Ray just knew exactly what to do whenever it was appropriate to do so. What a master.

I've not seen him do that. He sure gets some meat on the string using the second finger too. Can never get enough of Ray.
Not seen him using a mic on his bass before.
