| | | | Yeah I do that one arco. Nice one to do. I've got a dozen or so tunes I like to play the melody arco. Great practice is if you have a home recording setup, record the chords on piano with a click and then record yourself playing the melody with the bow. It's really great, because when you're in tune, you know. When you're out, you painfully know it.
The pain is that while I love spirocores for pizz, they can be a pain to bow. Hence, then million or so threads about that subject here. |

1. Spirocores are great for bowing - the best IMO.
2. Any tune you really want to know you should learn the melody with the bow. Bowing all the arppegios and then just the roots all the way through doesn't hurt either. |
