| Weight training isn't bad. If you need to stretch yourself out to reach the instrument, might I suggest that you study your body position in relation to the instrument. If you're reaching or bending a lot, then you have to find a better position for yourself. If you're very small, or have a big gut (with which I have some experience, at least in the past), or your bass is huge, you may have to sit on a stool to get around the thing. |
