Teachers in Memphis

I live about 80 miles north of Memphis, in the bootheel of Missouri. I was wondering if anybody knows of any teachers there. Whether they are jazz oriented or not doesn't matter.

A few years ago there was someone named Cooper Patterson who played with the Jackson TN Symphony and gave lessons at Dyersburg State. You might see if you could track him down.

As to Memphis, you might check with the Memphis Symphony or the University of Memphis. UofM might connect you with a graduate student who could get you up and running.
