Certainly stop by. It's the newer Tea Lounge on Union St. ( Ithink ) . We only do a couple of sets starting at 9, so I hope you can make it. From what you've told us about your setup, my bass will be a teaser...plays real easy...

Just wanted to mention that after I saw your picture I realized that I think we may have crossed paths a couple of months back near circles in the slope. If it was you I saw, you were with yer bass (i was with my girl) and I said something like "I will own one of those very soon." I believe you said, (or whoever it was if it wasn't you) "here, take this one," or something like that.

What I'm doing is in Bay Ridge and hopefully finishing around 9. I'm going to be with some other people and if they're into going I'll be there. If not I'll definitely catch you sometime soon, now that I've crossed over to this other side I enjoy watching people play the DB. I hate to admit that I used to be real disappointed if I heard a band I going to check out didn't have an electric bass.

It probably wasn't me if he offered you the bass -- I would remember making that remark. At my web site you can join my list and then you'll know where the good hang is at any given time...

Hope to see you out!

Just got back from seeing Ray do his thing.

Ray - you scare me.

Are there any crappy DBers I can go see in NY now to recover my bruised ego? Actually, watching you play was very inspiring. If I decide to take some lessons (which yes, I know i should) I will definitely contact you. It was nice meeting you. I'll probably see you again sometime soon.

It was great to meet you as well! And thank you for the kind words. Sorry we didn't get a little more hang time, but you with cute girl and me with a bunch of friends showing up it was difficult to cover all the bases in 20 minutes...
