Absolutely awesome, Jason - you definitely ROCK!!!
Thanks once again for the most excellent customer service!!!

I could use a .130 to go with my Super Slinky set of 4 in the purple package 45 60 80 100... so I'm thinking the natural move is the .130, not the .125

I live in Maine so we're the last to get everything but three days from CA to ME is not bad at all. I used to order from Juststrings because they were based out of NH and stuff came in pretty quickly but I'll support a TB Member any day.

You almost wouldn't even know you were playing coated strings with the Dragon Skins. |

I'm wondering if that happened because it was strung thru-body or has anyone else has a problem with them? Nice thumpy "old flatwound" sound but completely different from the others in the "set" . This one is a long scale on a short scale with reverse headstock so I did not have to cut is short (which can kill a string). The rest of the "set" are the normal short scale ones which were also strung thru-body but are fine other than the silk not clearing the nut - I changed those over to top-load and they still sound fine .

You are putting a lot of stress on the core of the string going thru-body AND having the full windings around the tuning post. Check for a string twist and then shoot me a email and we can see what we can do for you. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
