I checked out the D'Addario website, but the NS website makes it seem as if there is a set just for fifths tuning:

NSOB5 E-C - E, A, D, G, C, low to high in fourths (standard bass tuning)

NSOB5 E-C etc... are not D'Addario part numbers so that doesn't help...

I am only seeing the NS710 and appropriate singles... NS Electric Bass/Cello Single G String, 4/4 Scale, Medium Tension etc...

I apologize I did not remember to check this post. I respond to inquires much faster when through email.

They do not have a 5ths tuning set available unfortunately. They may manufacture them for NS, but D'Addario does not sell them directly. I wish I had better news for you.

Never saw rubber strings on an upright - just on an 18" scale Ashbory? In any case magnetic pickups depend on the strings being ferromagnetic - rubber strings wouldn't be picked up.

Oh I see you are looking at a custom set of singles...

You are going to need to delete those from your cart and go back to the Build your own String Set section... There are actually different items for VIP's and NON...

Only tapered are Long Necks which are essentially the same as Lo Riders.... Stainless steel with hex core
