Priority Mail increased anywhere from $0.35 to $3.50 a package!!! So I made some changes to the shipping on BassStringsOnline.com
You will now see multiple shipping options at checkout for USA customers:
A First Class shipping option is now available. If you are purchasing 1 or 2 items (single string or a string set or two for example) you now have the option to select First Class mail service.
First class mail packages will still be packaged to our high packaging standards with strings wrapped in cardboard and in plastic bags to avoid any moisture your package may encounter in shipping.
These are lesser expensive shipping options and add an extra day or so to transit time depending on your location. This rate is $3.45 or $4.45 depending on the number of items you are purchasing.
Priority Mail service is still available at a flat rate of now $6.25. This is a flat rate for any size order via Priority Mail. One set or 50 sets...
With BassStringsOnline.com you get the services that you pay for.
Express shipping is available if needed, but with Priority Mail, you generally see items 2 days after they are shipped. We are working on an express mail program now that the USPS has released new Flat Rate Express boxes. (this should help YOU!)
If you are registered as a VIP you will notice shipping rates are $0.01 LESS than posted above. This helps me see that your order is receiving VIP pricing at checkout.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions at all. Do not hesitate to ask any questions!!! |

Thanks bassstringsonline! |

| | | | D'Addario ProSteels ROUND WOUND Build your own Custom String Set! Both a .018P Plain Steel and a .020P Plain Steel are listed under the "Build your own Custom String Set!" section. How long is the speaking length of these strings? Thanks.

I never realized these specific gauges were available for bass until I visited BSO. D'Addario's tension data sheet only lists these gauges for guitar...and I assumed they would be too short for my longer scale needs. Thanks for making them available.

Can you tell that I had round wound strings on the brain when I worded my question?

When looking at the D'Addario custom string sets the High-C strings will all fit just about any instrument you can put them on... Their useable winding length is over 40" long!
Every now and then I try to think of the best way to list those strings without confusing someone... But since there are no silks you really have no problem putting those strings on anything you can.
You can always ask me if a specific string set will fit on your specific instrument and I will be more than happy to let you know. |
