I got a custom taper core set from BSO for my extra long scale Modulus Graphite Quantum 6. Jason was impeccable in his service (we emailed back and forth 5 or so times) and the set was exactly what I was looking/hoping for.
TBers are crazy if they don't try Bass Strings Online, IMO...

One question - Do you ever do the Dunlop 2 for 1 promotion like one of the other on-line string stores? Thanks!

Dunlop does specific promotions with specific stores. So we will have our own run of promotions eventually... I'll but them about doing one...
Dunlop has recently released Twin Packs of 4 and 5 string Nickel Plated Steel sets. So I do have those available now at a great price (will be listed on the site soon!).
We do match prices so feel free to bring anything to my attention and we can make something happen! |

I've placed a few orders and none have taken more than 3 days to get across the country! Also he's extremely helpful, answering any and all of my stupid questions! BSO is the only place I plan on buying strings for a long time.

work well with my passive jazz 4 with Bart. CBdeeps?

I prefer less tension, like round core as opposed to hex core. where do the progressives sit? I think I like the low tension because they make me play with a softer touch which is helping me break some bad habits.

I think they have a bit more output too. I have played a custom 45-60-80-106 set on a friend's bass on multiple occasions.
I would play Progressives before I would ever use steels. They are somewhere in between steels and nickels. |
