New waterproofing for cases?
Anybody tried this on a bass bag yet?
Also check out the " Rustoleum Never Wet... buyer beware" video...and the comments.
It apparently wears off very quickly if you touch it.
I've treated my bag with NikWax products with good results. It's not magic, but as a Seattlite, my bag sees a lot of moisture and it does a good job. It's been a while, but I think I washed it in Tech Wash and sprayed it with TX-Direct.
I have a friend there who I always ask before I treat something weird, but they make good products.
Troy: Re the NikWax. Thumbs up on this...I found it to be very good too.
Their N. American headquarters is here in Seattle and I know a guy. I asked him after I posted this and he said TX-Direct would help, but their tent spray would work better. I don't remember which I used, but it worked pretty well. Probably time for a new coat, it's been a few years.
I use various Nikwax products on jackets and fleece and other outdoor wear. It's really wet here for most of the year it's a great set of products. Only did the bass bag once, but it worked out great.
