Can you replace MEC pickup covers?

One of the pickup covers on my thumb is worn down quite a bit. I was thinking of replacing it. Just wondering if the covers come off, and if so, if it's difficult to source new ones.

Nope the MEC singles are sealed in epoxy like Bartolini.

Well shoot. Its been played so hard that one pickup cover is really, REALLY worn down. If I had new pickup covers it'd look like a brand new bass. Its just aesthetics, the pickup works fine. I'll have to start keeping an eye out for someone selling some MEC's in the classifieds.
