Did anyone see THIS?!

I'm assuming this is another of the NAMM '13 new arrivals, but I found this little beauty on the Warwick site already.

It's the Rockbass Triumph Lite

Hi Jon, Yes we will be debuting the Rockbass Triumph Lite at NAMM 2013! A lot of work went into making this a reality, and we are very proud of it! Please let me know if you've got any questions or if I can assist in any way. Thanks!

I've never been interested in an EUB until I saw this.

TolerancEJ - The Rockbass Triumph Lite comes with a gig-bag, but no stand. Thanks for your patience while I got clarification. Please let me know if you've got any other questions or need assistance in any way!

Stand for Triumph

I have a Triumph that (I think) is from the mid-1950's (it's on the left hand side of my avatar). Is there any stand that Warwick makes that would work with it? Also, is there a way to actually date it?

That pricing is aggressive! I like it! I've been interested in an EUB for years but none of them have ever been in my price range. I came across a few but they didn't have a neck radiused for bowing, which is completely contrary to the point of the thing's existence, I thought. This is definitely on my short list of future gear purchases! Well done Warwick!

I've never used, or even tried an upright or EUB, but damn if this doesn't give me the urge to learn.

I was standing right next to Steve as this was filmed....it was in an incedibly loud environment, but our videographer had a small mic on a BC20 combo amp. Played through a full rig at loud volume it sounds stunning...but something we could only do before or after the show, due to the NAMM Sound Control guys!

Sounds good. I'm trying to find a clip of someone playing it with a bow. Anyone know of such a video I could check out?

Thanks!

I would imagine now that NAMM has passed, Warwick will make time for their artists to produce sample videos for us. I'm also looking forward to seeing what this instrument can do.

That's probably true. And the number of people who care to bow one of these things is probably very small anyway, so I probably shouldn't expect a lot of emphasis on it!
