my sound

Hi everybody! I need your help to search my sound. I like sound of bass like Mike Kroeger(nickelback). On my opinion it have much bass and growling. Just the same i need. But I do not know: it sound of warwick streamer 2 or spector legend. Can you me help?

Mike Kroeger as it looks like you know plays a Spector and even has a signature model. There is no real way to get anyone else's exact tone even with the exact gear and I think that is a good thing. You will have to find your own sound and try both of course. EMG passive HZ pickups and a passive tone controls set flat and round wounds is a good place to start. Then find your own voice and good luck.

Mike has a USA model and an overseas model that is less expensive. He uses passive pickups. If you want to know more about his gear search the "Spector club" thread. Those guys are nice and can help you out. Mike does not play Warwick at this time.
