Pickups for 2002 Corvette Standard 5 string

I've got a Corvette Standard 5 string that seems to have lost its warmth over the years. It can sound good, but it's hard to get it set up just right. I'm thinking about a new set of pickups just to see if that wakes it up a bit. Has anyone had success with new pickups on a Corvette? If so, what did you get? Thanks.

EMGs are a nice addition; I had those in my '96 Corvette Std 5 string and they do sound nice.

I ended up switching my 'vette to a Seymour Duncan setup; STC-2a preamp and AJB-5 pickups. They are darker sounding than the EMGs, but I really enjoy the more organic quality that this new setup seems to have.
