Oh! You're the one with the Dolphin and BN Thumb 6! Fantastic basses!

I had the same thought and tried it first when I received it. I had a hard time keeping it secure (spacing on the strings), tried some tape, but for whatever reason found it more difficult to grab...YMMV.

Thanks I should have figured you would have tried that. I do have a Streamer Stage 2 but I use my Streamer Stage 1 more for live playing I hope that changes as I get the pickup preamp combo figured out and I get more comfortable with the spacing. I think they might work better with the standard spacing at the bridge it is a good bit closer. Thanks for the reply I ordered 3 of them. We have a couple tunes where I play verse and chorus with fingers and bridge with a pic these will be great if I can get it hammered out. What's worse than switching from fingers to pick? Doing it during a song..

I just played a broadneck streamer at the Custom Shop in New York. Never played one, but I am thoroughly a 19mm guy. That bass was super comfy and I had no issues do the chord stuff I needed to, though admittely I got some stretchable fingers lol. I did a little video with Bon Lozaga and Ryan Martinie up there and was concerned a tad about the spacing compared to my usual bass but that streamer was on point in all ways. Very sweet, whenever that vid surfaces I'll post a link.

Beautiful bass!!! Did you buy it? Was Ryan as cool as he seems? Bon is a jazz cat, no?

Bon is a fusion cat, Gong was a fusion band as I understand? He can certainly do jazz but his voice is really what I would call fusion. I'm more a funk guy so I may be butchering that. But he has been incredible to play with, likes to keep up with the times which is more than I can say about most players.

Ryan is a freakin trip. Super nice, super knowledgeable about all sorts of things which I appreciate very much. We've done the dual bass things a few times now and it works pretty well AS LONG AS when he goes low I got high and vice versa. So that gives him a good bit of leeway to do his thing. Super humble. Hope to see Mudvayne back around at some point.

I did not buy the bass. Don't know whether to shoot for that or a completely custom bass, but I have a bass that really fits my playing now so I have to think long and hard about jumping ship. But that bass definitely opened the door to me considering it, I could never deal with the tighter warwick spacing. However, I may actually like 20mm more than 19mm.

Very cool, thanks for sharing! Great playing and I really like the part where you go above the 12th fret with the slapping.

Thanks man. The dual bassist thing is super weird, and we've done it a few times. So my rule of thumb is when he goes high, I go low, and vice versa. Works so far, in that the universe hasn't imploded.....
