Warwick is proud to announce the release of a unique and stunning instrument - the
Corvette $$ NT Special Edition 68 available in 4, 5, and 6 string fretted versions.
This instrument is the result of both inspiration and evolution, inspired by the classic
American built General Motors 1968 Model Corvette Stingray. The intoxicating hot rod
that is perhaps one of the most sought after of all American muscle cars, known for its
unique body styling with sleek lines and powerful high performance V8 engine. The car
bears the same name as one of Warwick's most celebrated models to date.
With this car in mind Hans-Peter Wilfer envisioned a Warwick Corvette bass to match its
beauty and style. So the idea and inspiration was born. Now the task was to bring an ins-
trument to life that embodies the idea of a stunning candy-red ’68 Corvette with chrome
applications. Our Custom Shop team began to design a Corvette bass to match the car’s
beauty and muscle.
The final result is a stunning instrument that embodies elements of class, style, beauty,
and speed. An instrument that plays and sounds as fantastic as it looks. For the lover of
hot rods and the lover of speed this instrument makes a striking and bold statement. Its
sheer power of low tones and class will radiate from the stage. A perfect companion to
the car from which it was inspired.
