Do a few searches on Youtube. They have a Jazz pickup and a MusicMan-style humbucker, so you can get aggressive or mellow, and anywhere in between. Great tone for pick, slap, and fingers.
I just acquired a FNA Jazzman with MEC pickups from Ebay. Not sure who makes the pre-amp so I will assume it is Warwick as well. I noticed that when I switch the toggle switch to the middle position, I get a lot of high end hiss (noise). I have a Thumb NT, which has some hiss but nothing like what I am hearing. Is that normal for this bass?

Just sold mine. It may do that when the treble is all the way up or mids up but if not and you have his could be an issue in the preamp.

Okay thanks. I wasn't sure if it was a pre-amp issue or the humbucker pickup. Adjusting the tone and mid controls does help as well.

I have different preamps in my Warwicks and I can tell you the MEC 3 band preamp is open and clear lots of air and glass. The EQ points that the mids and treble are set are at higher points than most. On most all other preamps I have the treble almost all the way up but the MEC will give you plenty of glass not all the way up and should help with that white noise hiss.

Nemasis - I responded to your PM with basically the same info as Means2nEnd. Let us know if this helps. Thanks!

Bolt on thumbs can easily be had for $1000ish if you keep your eyes peeled. Especially 4 stringers. They have jazz pickups, but IMHO sound nothing like a stock passive Fender jazz.
