Question

Hey mangs. Anyone ever heard of HiFiSoundconnection? I just came across their site & they have a bunch of Warwick Pro Series models available. They have free shipping & even a "make an offer" option which is a little weird.

Better let WarwickOfficial weigh in on that, whether HiFiSoundConnection is an official Warwick dealer.

I vaguely remember someone complaining about that company awhile back.

Herrick - Please stay clear of HiFiSoundconnection. There have been issues in the past with them, and they are not an authorized dealer. Thanks!

Thanks ToleranceEJ & Warwick Official. Looks like those sellers on eBay that were mentioned on the 1st page are the best bet of buying new Pro Series models online.

They have a good selection of Warwicks on their website.

Not only that... They're a brick and mortar music store. Not just online sales.
Hi, I just want to clarify, we are not yet a brick and mortar store. We hope to be someday... sorry if there was any confusion.

I'm going to resurrect this thread to ask the question that's on a lot of minds now that NAMM is over. Were any announcements made or plans set to improve the inventory situation?

I find the lack of information regarding this subject disturbing.
"Here's some new equipment"
"Cool, where can I buy it?"
"Nowhere."
"???"

Warwick is losing money hand over fist to the used market because their basses simply aren't available. They've got any awesome product, notable endorsed artists and an excellent reputation. Now if only people could buy their product. Even online stores are getting thin on inventory.

Warwick is not responsible for sending their basses to the music stores. It is a music store's option to order inventory from their distributor. If you want Warwick in your area, you will have to request it from your local shop's manager. Let them know there's demand for the product.

That is true, but even when online stores aren't carrying basses they know they'd make some serious money on, you can't find them. So who is to blame?

If you have a model in mind that you're interested in, send me a PM, I will be more than happy to help you out. Some newer models just aren't out yet, but I can assist with anything else.

Here's your request.
Here's a bass vendor asking what you'd like.

I have an order already in progress with Bass Alien & they've been supercool with me. Mike has replied to any message I've ever sent within the same day. He even replied on the day that he had 4 wisdom teeth pulled. If that's not dedication to customer service, I don't know what is.

There are a lot of people that just go to the sight to see if its available. If its not there to see, then they come to the perception its not available. Just like myself. That is all I'm getting at.

I'm not sure what model I'm interested in because I can't try them out. That's the crux of the problem for me. I know some people are OK with buying a bass without trying it, but I'm not one of them. I've been in too many situations when I thought I really wanted something until I finally tried it out and found it to be nothing like what I thought it was.

Its the responsibility of MI manufactures to work out contracts with retail locations to carry their products. I'm not sure exactly where the problem is, but there is a big old factory in Germany turning out awesome basses and a bunch of MI stores selling instruments. These two instances need to shake hands.
I have spoken with the Sales Rep middle man in my region and he was useless. He directed me to a store in a bombed out part of LA that didn't even have stock anyway. That's totally within Warwick's realm of control to fix.
