Andre Previn Double Concerto for Bass and Violin

Tonight I listened (on the radio) to the Boston Symphony give the world premiere of Andre Previn's Double Concerto for Bass and Violin. Anne-Sophie Mutter was the violinist and Roman Patkolo was the bassist.
(Actually, this was the third performance, since the BSO performs on Thursday night, Friday afternoon, and Saturday night. The final performance will be next Tuesday night. I hope I can score a ticket.)

It's an awesome work, and I hope you get to hear it. The BSO concerts are broadcast on WCRB, so they are not archived on the BSO website. I hope it gets recorded soon.

No, that's why it's called a World Premier.

That world premier was almost a year ago now. just so you know, recordings can happen within a year of a world premier. And I was wondering about that specific performance.

Sorry, I didn't see the date on simandlfans' post. Too bad there's no podcast of the concert.
