Anyone know anything for Bass and Bassoon or Bass and Viola

Well the title says it all but I'll restate it, Does anyone know any good music for Bass and Viola or Bass and Bassoon or all 3 but that would be harder. If there's not much bass, then cello part but nothing too adventerous, just something for me and my friends to fool around with.

Beethoven's Duet with Obligatto Eyeglasses is a nice piece. There is also an arrangement of Bach's two part inventions for bass and violin or viola.

if you are using a 5 string bass you could play a majority of bassoon duets, the lowest note on the bassoon is a B flat below the staff (1/2 step lower than the open B string on a 5 string bass).

P.S. do you play bassoon?

Discordia Music publishes Nietzsche Contra Wagner for bass and bassoon by Michael Hovnanian (Chicago Symphony bassist), and Five Miniatures for viola and bass by Max Raimi (Chicago Symphony violist).

-Albert Roussell: duo for bass and bassoon (needs solo tuning)
-Hindemith: 2 duos for bass and bassoon (really easy)

there's a new duo for bass and bassoon due to be published by august by ludwinmusic.com, which is a very good piece to display extended ranges of both instruments

beyond that, i've done the mozart sonata for bassoon and cello (play cello part on bass) and pdq bach's dutch suite for tuba and bassoon (play tuba part on bass)

telemann's canonic sonatas also work well

The sonorities of bass and bassoon and viola and bass make them really good pairings. (well they appeal to my aural aesthetic anyway)

all 3 together are really, really nice. I hope you can find some material.
How about writing your own??

Duets

I have done duets with 2 basses, bass and cello and bass and bassoon - usually in one of those school " Meet the Orchestra" things. I always used the duet book written by ME and they always did the jobs nicely.

There's also a Dittersdorf Duetto, which is just bass and viola. I don't know if that counts as "good music" or not, but it is fun. Also, Gliere wrote a Suite that is often done on bass with either violin or viola. The Telemann Canonic duos can be done with any pair of instruments. And I have a recording somewhere of one of the Bottesini Gran Duos with a viola on the top part that sounds quite nice.
