Peter Ind

Hey, just wanted to tell youse guys about some good fortune I had last nite! I went to Birdland in Manhattan with my kid to see the Connie Crothers quartet. Well in walks Peter Ind and he caused a bit of a stir. Folks were very happy to see him as he is a great on his own and one of the few luminaries who talk about LT in a positive way instead of tearing him down. He was so into the music, I could tell he was really moved. After the show I felt compelled to introduce myself and found him to be a very sweet and humble gentleman. I really picked the right nite to go as I have always wished to meet him.

Sweet! I'm sorry I missed it.

Joe has some recordings of himself and his wife Alexa with Peter made during a visit to Peter 4 or 5 years ago. Do you know if he's gonna be interviewd during the KCR Lennie marathon next week?

No, I don't but it does seem that wouldbe a good reason for him to be intown. Can you post any info on that KCR thing?

- How was the bass player? I think it was my friend Adam Lane. He is a great player and spent some time out here.
