COVERING THE FINGERBOARD

What is the least number of jazz tunes that, if played back to back, would cover the entire fingerboard?

Please name them!

Strange question, but I assume you mean the range of the melody.
Donna Lee has a pretty large range.
Or just transpose anything to the higher thumb positions.
Is this a trick question ? - Tom

transposing

TGP..this is not a trick question..just something that popped up in my head..and I should have thought of transposing---and stated - without transposing unless it is the way the tune was written.

Well... Freedom Jazz Dance and Some Skunk Funk come to mind for single song choices, but there are too many combinations that would have low/mid range, then high range playing. I suppose two different ballads could do it :/

old question, but...

try 26-2. it doesnŽt go "low" on the a- and e-strings, but youŽll cover a lot of length on d- and g-strings. like, from the first c in thumb position down to e on the d-string (1st position).
