Fingerboard chart + manuscript

Hello fellow TBrs. I have drawn up a picture of an upright bass neck with manuscript in .pdf form. It fits on a standard 8.5x11 perfectly. I find it very helpful when teaching multiple scale and arpeggio fingerings to my students, especially when we start studying two and three octave variations. I find that dotting with a red sharpie works wonderfully well for note markings.

I have created 4 different files:
1 Octave (less markings and optically simpler)
2 Octave (markings all the way up the fingerboard)
Thumb Position – enlarged for easier reading
Thumb Position x3 – three pictures of the fingerboard on the same page.

Enjoy, and I hope you find them as useful as I have.

Jeff Gray

Thanks Francois and Chris for your help with this. Perhaps you could “sticky” this thread.
