I resently brough the book "5 Simple pieces for Double Bass" By Ida Carroll, Im working on the GAVOTTE, its a realy simple piece, but im not sure if ive got the rythm right, is there any way to check this? Thanks

If you are paying for lessons and practicing between, then making mistakes at the lesson are what the teacher needs you to do. That way they know what areas to focus on when instructing you.
In the mean time, I played GAVOTTE a ton of years ago and it goes like this...
dump, deedle dump, deedle dee doo dump dooo, dump deedle dee, doo deedeedeedeedeedeedeedee.....
