Good Piece to Arrange for Bass Ensemble?

So we have to play chamber music at NCSA, and as you know, small ensembles that contain a bass are few and far between.

I'm tired of doing joke ones "The Prehistoric Suite" which contains such movements as "the romance of dina and dino saurs" and "the caveman promenade", and a duet arrangement of "what do we do with the drunken sailor"

I was thinking about arranging "Because" by the Beatles. One of my favorite pieces for its beautiful harmony "plus i think the fact that its a modified moonlight sontata chord progression might help its acceptance here.

Any suggestions for other pieces to arrange?

Thanks!
Chad

I heard this crazy arrangement of Monti's Czardas with a bass ensemble, really insane stuff. I don't know if they marketed the arrangement though.

There is no short supply of bass chamber music. Playing in a real chamber ensemble with musicians who take the music seriously will be MUCH more beneficial than playing a beatles song with a bass quartet.
