There are many niguns in Klezmer music. You'd have to be more specific than that. A Nigun is a kind of meditative, chanted Jewish melody, often w/o chords or words with their origins from different Hassidic or religious sects from different parts of Eastern Europe. It's a kind of oral tradition handed down. Some are very old. Some have been notated, but many of the same melodies have different names depending on what musicians are playing (or singing) them. This makes it all the more confusing.

Where did you here it?

Rob, I went to the site and veiwed a video of Sciascia plying it. This is a fairly common Klezmer melody that I know I've accompanied on more than one occasion. Usually as a faster Bulgar (one type of Klezmer dance tempo).
Although the name (if any) escapes me. Like I have said, you often hear or see the same or similar melodies in Klezmer music w/ different names for the same melodic thread.

From lstening to him and from his vitae I'm gathering that this is Sciascia's own arrangement of this melody.

I may have it in it's unarranged form (as a lead sheet) in a Klez book. If not one of my collegues will recognize it and may have a sheet on it. I'll check and get back to you.

If you want to play this particular arrangement of it, it would probably be best to contact Sciascia.
