Motivy - Tabakov

I am interested in playing Motivy by Tabakov. Is this piece solo or regular tuning? From what I gather it can be played both ways. Also how difficult would you rate this piece? (I am sure I can play it , I would just like to know what you think about it, if you have played it)

Tuning doesn't matter. It's solo bass. It's a hard piece but nothing ridiculous. One of the hardest things about the piece for me was getting the sixteenth notes on the lower strings to be clear.
