Not sure what to do

I have just gotten a pdft of Bachs cello suite #2 and unsure of what to do with it because it is in tenor clef or alto not sure which one, what to I do about playing this on bass?

any help is appreciated

Sounds to me that you have ended up with a transcription for viola in the alto clef. Try and get the original for cello which will be in the bass clef.

Moveable Clefs

The line where the two curved parts of the clef join is "middle c". I would suggest that you buy a version for bass or you could be in for a lot of transposing and/or rescoring.

...or, you could just learn to read it from the music you have (mentally transposing down an octave). My guess is that, after a few days, you'll be able to easily read through your piece, and after a week or so, those clefs will be almost second nature. (Based on my own experience only)

But does anyone also have the cello part, i have beeen looking for it for quite some time I need it in pdf if anyone can help

suggest trying to find midi file of it

then find a Cubase 4 or Sibelius or Finale user and get them to print out a score for you in bass clef. Tenor & alto clefs are not that hard to learn to read, once you force your mind into accepting that "C" is now on the stave..
