Original versions of jazz standards

(Let me first apologize for my poor english, not a native speaker) I'm thinking about trying to get in to a particular school, and for the audition or whatever you call it they want you to play two of the songs from this list, in the arrangement found in Chuck Shers The new realbook.

Yesterdays
All the Things You Are
Beautiful Love
Footprints
My Shining Hour
Someday My Prince Will Come
Blues for Alice
Mr PC
Song for My Father
Gentle Rain

I haven't got the book, and before getting it I would like to listen to all of the songs the way they would be played from that book, so I can get familiar with them, as well as hearing how fast I'd have to play each song and so on. The thing is that I'm kind of new to jazz and all this stuf, and with my limited knowledge there seems to be an overwhelming number of different versions out there by various artists that might be totally different in terms of form, chords etc, so basically I'm just wondering if maybe someone familiar with these songs could help me find versions of these songs performed as they would've been from the book?

Edit: Also, I would appreciate some thoughts on which of these that would be suitable for someone with limited experience of jazz and double bass.

For Footprints, you'll want to look up Wayne Shorter's original.
I guess the original of Someday My Prince... is from Snow White, but Miles Davis did it on his album of the same name.
Blues for Alice is Charlie Parker - composed in 1951, if that helps you find a good version of his
Mr PC is John Coltrane from 1960's album Giant Steps
Song for My Father is a Horace Silver tune, from the album of the same name

Those are the only ones I'm really familiar with. All The Things... has been recorded many, many times. I understand why you want to find the originals, seeing as you're relatively new to jazz, but don't forget that there's no reason you should try to play them just the same as the original.

Oh, and your English is pretty good, so don't worry!

Thanks! Yes, I totally get that, but still, I don't want to learn something completely different from what the rest of the band will be playing on the audition, and I wouldn't be able to tell the difference if I just listened to the first version I could find on Spotify.

(Thank you, I guess it is, but like most swedes I badly want to sound like a native speaker for some reason )

Go to http://www.youtube.com/ and type in each song title. For instance, searching for "All The Things You Are" returns versions by Artie Shaw, Charlie Parker, and many others including Junky Funk.
