Robert Zimmerman Orchestral Excerpt CD

Has anybody seen this? I read about this collection of orchestra parts in the latest bass world that came in the mail while I was gone at school. I just checked out the website and the list of excerpts is huge! And these just aren't excerpts, they're the complete parts. Like father, like son I suppose?

Here's the list of parts on the CD:

If anybody knows anything about it or has gotten a copy I'd love to hear if it was worth it. I remember there was talk on here of a super collection on heavy weight paper that would go in a binder.

Mmmm....heavy weight paper holds up against eraser....mmmmmm

I own the cd too. Its really nice, and you get a copy without bowings written in too. My only complaint is that the pieces are scanned and then saved as pdf... so some of the pages are a little crooked and you can't fix it. You can read everything tho. Buy it its worth the money.

Thanks guys. I think I will have to even though I have a complete set of Zimmerman books, there are just too many compete parts here. Do you know if there are any immediate release dates for the extra material talked about in bass world? Bass World was saying that since these are PDFs, free (if you bought the disk) downloads of new parts will be posted online at Mr. Zimmerman's leisure. True?

Could someone who owns this give some more info? They call this bass excerpts, yet it is mentioned above that they have the full scores on there. For example, if I went to the 1st movement of Beethoven's 3rd, would the entire movement be there or just excerpts? In other words, is this a CD-ROM really of complete bass scores?

Is there someone who actually owns this CD-ROM who could clarify this?

They are the complete bass parts for the pieces from begining to end. Just the bass parts tho. Worth the money.

Thanks Mr Phil. Yes, certainly worth it, and I am placing my order.

I also emailed the publishing company and received a nice response with the same info.
