Cool Solo after Capuzzi

Recently i have finished the capuzzi concerto and i am looking for a new solo to work on. My teacher Karl Olson has suggested Dragonetti and has given me another peice called four short pieces for the solo doublebass by David Anderson. This piece was written for the bassist Sidney King from the louisville orchestra.
So i was woundering if anyone had some other suggestions for a solo after capuzzi and or comments on dragonetti or the four short pieces for the solo double bass. Thanks!

Eccles sonata?

O yea, practice a ton of G major scales 3 octaves for the Dragonetti. Also G major arpeggios 4 octaves. (last octave in harmonics of the fingerboard). You'll be ready for the Dragonetti.
