Solo Repertoire for Children

Hello everyone, I have recently started giving lessons to a 10 year old child that is in his second year of the school strings program. I was wondering if anyone could reccomend some easy solo repertoire for him.

If you're not yet familiar with George Vance's Progressive Repertoire series, I encourage you to check it out. He also has piano accompaniments to the pieces that can be purchased at a modest cost. Rabbath plays on the reference CD.

Suzuki Materials

Vance is a good choice. You may want to check out the Suzuki bass materials, too, available here. Gary Karr plays all the CD examples.

Good luck!
