"Spanish" Duet?

Anyways, in Spanish class here at WH we have to perform our art for a final project. Me and another music major (violin) were thinking that if we could get a Spanish type of music duet either for violin and cello or violin and bass it would be cool to perform. Do you have any ideas for music that fits this category?

You could just find a piece by a spanish composer.

"Solomente una Vez" or " Las Mananitas" are two popular Mexican tunes. If you will listen to any spanish radio staion you will hear many beautiful tunes. Transcribe one. The Mexican style use lots of parallel third harmony. The satellite radio packages all carry Mexican music. I like to set my VCR and tape an hour of music , then pick out the good ones, later.
