standard orchestral peices?

lately i have begun to colect peices of music just ot have around to practice on. right now i am pretty much just making copies of what we are playing in the civic orchestra that i am in. i would like to have a few more "standard" peices laying aroud to practice with also. what are concidered to be the standards that orchestral players should have experience with? at our last concert we played a Hindelmith (sp?) peice that everyone seemed to be familiar with that i had never even heard before. any suggestions as to what i should have laying around? thanks for the help.

I think this list will be a good start...

Bach: 2nd Orchestral Suite: Double and Badinerie
Beethoven 5: 2nd and 3rd mvt.
Beethoven 9: 4th mvt.
Mahler: 1st Sym. 3rd mvt, 2nd Sym. 1st page
Mussourgsky: Pictures at an Exhibition: Samuel Goldenberg and Schmuyle
Prokofiev: Romeo and Juliet, Lieutenant Kije
Ginastera: Variacones Concertantes
Strauss: Don Juan, Till Eulenspiegel, Ein Heldenleben, Also Spracht Zarathustra...you get the idea...
Mozart: the 1st and 4th mvt's of 35, 39, 40, 41

Also check out the solo in Rigoletto and the soli in Othello
