Stormy Weather on NPR?

Hey there --

Anyone know who did the piano trio version of Stormy Weather as played on NPR's Market Place? (when the stock report is bad!)

I finally heard the entire trio version on the radio -- but failed to hear who it was.

Kind of sounded like a nice Red Garland or Wynton Kelly piece -- could have also been Oscar Peterson -- but it wasn't very flashy like he normally plays.

Anyway, the bass solo was very nice and lasted several choruses -- it's one I'd like to check out in more detail.

Thanks!

Ed calls Red

Nice!

It's good to know my ear is getting better at picking these things up!

Now I'm going to get me that record -- hope it's out on CD.

Cheers,

Jason
