Summertime

Hi,

I am searching for recordings of 'Summertime' which are in the
vein of those which Coltrane and Rollins did (separately).
Those, to my ear, sound a bit 'adventurous'.
I would be grateful for any recommendations.

Thanks,
Jan

Greg Osby has a cool arrangement on St Louis Shoes.

Ari Hoenig's version off of 'The Painter' is cool too. Ari (drummer) plays the head. Neat stuff.

Don't know if it's what you're looking for, but Wes Montgomery's "4 on 6" off the ultra-classic Smokin' At The Half-Note is the "Summertime" changes and you can learn a lot from that record.
