| | | | Transferring music to iPad Does anyone know of a program or app where I could scan our band charts and then play from an iPad ? I could imagine them being in some "kindle" type format where I could easily turn pages. |

| | | | Thanks guys. We have over 450 charts, and the only thing worse than hauling them around is having to put them back in order at the end of the night. |

Its not designed for music specifically, but I have noticed that the other 2 guys in the band who use an ipad never pull a chart up quicker than I do and they use iGigbook, which is fancier and more costly.
Also, I used the turbo scan app, and it is stunning how good those scanned charts look. Best $2 I ever spent on anything, period. |

If you ask them why they have chose it, over other apps, you'll probably gain more insight. |

| | | | I have been using forscore. I don't have to scan music and transfer files, I can take a photo of the music and the app will convert the photo into the program. This is very convenient because I can take the photos quickly while at rehearsal on my iPhone, they will automatically transfer to my iPad when I get home via photostream, then I just load them into the program. I've already converted much of our music catalog into the app. I use the iPad mini so the full page is smaller than I would like, however, turning the iPad sideways makes it larger, although now with more pages to turn. Right now it's great to practice at home, but I would need Airturn to use it at a gig. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
