Question treble clef to bass clef: quick notation question

If I trascribed a melody in treble clef and wanted to rewrite it in bass clef, would i just rewrite everything one line down (or one space down)?

Hope it makes sense; I'm a total beginner at writing music.

Yes, the note letters will be the same, but the notes will sound three octaves lower.
