Trio Music

I am searching for challenging double bass trio music for my "hot-shot" high school-aged students. The purpose is to choose a "legit" piece for study and performance. We will record it and submit to a chamber music symposium in March, 2008.

Reviving an old thread. Can someone post some ideas for the public eye to look at? I started reading some duet music for double bass with two other guys. The third guy kind of hopped back and forth between the top line and the bottom line and it worked out alright, but it might be more fun to actually have a third part for him to play. We're hoping to find music that's relatively easy to play.

Does anyone know anything about "Trios and Quartets for Double Basses" vols I-IV? It looks like lemur music has volume I available,
