1 guitarist stumps 400+ bassists

Alright- the gloves are off. I know there are in excess of 400 of you/us viewing right now. A guitarist I know claims he heard some new Tower Of Power, on which Francis 'Rocco' Prestia III slaps- that's right, sullaaaap-sss the bass. Will somebody PLEASE prove this untrue? If not, will somebody at least hint around that this subject is taboo?

I was beginning to believe I was being shunned- which is nothing new, mind you, it's just unusual coming from someone other than the wife & kids.
