That is too cute! I hope one or both of my daughters will be doing that in a few years. I know one thing, the kid can already sing and play better than I can.

Who knows, maybe we will have another Tal Wilkenfeld or Rhonda Smith thrilling the crowds in four or five more years.

If you couldn't see her, there is NO WAY you would believe that is a 10 year old girl singing!
Damn! Some people are just savants...

I dig the Daisy Rock, but the furry vest makes her look like she should be in Dr. Teeth & the Electric Mayhem.
(though that is not necessarily a bad thing...)

She was a natural at singing! FAN-tastic voice.
Interesting to me about her playing- kind of stiff-
(Yes, yes, I know she's only 10!!) And very good at that for a 10 or even a 15 year old!!!
My point is though- she has great ears, it was obvious that she heard that riff and was able to essentially lay it down by ear. That's a natural musical talent.
No prob with her playing the bass, but as a singer- It's a lock!

BTW--- Did anyone catch, that last night, there was a dedicated category about BASS GUITAR..

ON JEOPARDY!!!

Now that is progress for the instrument! Validation and mainstream as it's gonna get! Amazing.

that was awsome!, thats inspiration right there, she's got an awsome voice aswell.

about the jeopardy thing, is there any videos of that? finally in the coming years bass could get the reconation deserves. The only time it did really in popular music was in the 70's i think.

Don't know about videos, maybe on their website they re-cap or something-It was last nights broadcast-

Actually very well done-

They had video of a player, and he had chops!

Q: "This style was popular in the 70's & 80's and was known for it's use of 'slaps and pops', also used as part of the name of a popular group"??
A: Funk, Alex (P-Funk)- The bassist demonstrated with a pretty nice riff too!

Now there's something you don't see everyday, eh?

That was awesome. Wow, what a voice. Noticed that she saved the slap & pop until the end, presumably because it's hard to do that while you're singing. And don't I know it!

I'd say "somebody needs to invite her to TB", but I'm afraid that we'd scare her away!
