I don't necessarily agree with the order, but it's a pretty good list.

+1

Btw, " (#28) One Nation Under a Groove" was played by Bernie Worrell's left hand.

Song-Specific Personnel:

"One Nation"
Lead Vocals: Garry Shider, Junie Morrison, George Clinton
Bass Synth: Bernie Worrell

So much for research.

Ah wonderfully ignorant youth! Here's a post from that site:

Ummmmm...is the creator of this list retarded? Geddy Lee #7? You must be on drugs. Geddy lee destroys bassist like john entwistle in a second. That guy couldn't play his way out of a paper bag. He has the weakest bass riffs ever known to mankind. Mega nub bassist. Les Claypool and Geddy lee should be ****ing tied for first. All the bassist listed above them ****ing suck.

Pretty good list, and like Showdown, I don't agree completely with the order.

One thing though; don't go to the comments page. The stupidity displayed in many comments are blinding!

Lists like this are always so inane, this one even moreso than most.

Big Yes and Rush fans I see.

I can't imagine that they are stupider than the list itself.

That's not a terrible list.

Maybe we can start a "Best Rock Basslines Not Played By A Bass Player" list and include "One Nation Under a Groove," which does have a well-architected line.

A good list...

If you're only counting popular music.

Hey, inane, retarted, true or not - I felt I had to make note that I'm currently playing bass for the number one guy on this list...

That kinda made my day.
