Dark Star pickups

Forgive me....
I usually try to show up when anybody mentions "Dark Star" in an interesting context.
Berry's bass is sporting a Hagstrom Bi-Sonic (single coil) pickup on his now famous Tractor bass. Dark Stars are recreations of that pickup.

He (no doubt) stold it off his '60s Guild Starfire.

I was jsut listening to the Allman Brothers Live at the Fillmore the other day and was amazed at this man's playing . Another great influence on a 16yr old like myslef
